MOUNT MERU CLIMBING
Mount Meru 4566m, It is the second-highest mountain in Tanzania, after Mount Kilimanjaro, It is located just north of the city of Arusha, and 70 kilometres (43 mi) west of Mount Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania. Mount Meru is the topographic centre piece of Arusha National Park, Its fertile slopes rise above the surrounding savanna and support a forest that hosts diverse wildlife, including nearly 400 species of birds, and also Includes Giraffe, Buffalo, Zebra, Warthog, Colobus Monkey and many other African animals.
Mount Meru climbs its ideal for acclimatisation, most importantly, your body required to make changes to adapt to the high altitude. The choice of climb route is much easier than Mount Kilimanjaro, On Mount Meru there is only one climb route. Although there is a 3 day climb and 4 days climb. Accommodation while climbing Mount Meru, there is two very well appointed, big shared huts, the Miriakamba Huts at 2514m and the Saddle Huts at 3570m.
You will collect you from your hotel in City of Arusha, in the morning and take you to Arusha National Park. At the headquarters for the registration formalities and to obtain a climbing permit, will all be checked and made ready for departure.
